Ousia is a new restaurant on the West Side of Manhattan by the Hudson River on the first floor of the Durst Organization's pyramidal building on West 57th Street. This Greek and Mediterranean restaurant is backed by Nick Livanos, who is well known for his Greeks restaurants in Midtown. The aim of the restaurant is to portray a casual and contemporary appearance while maintaining a certain degree of sophistication. The waterside location provides Ousia with the prime area for an aesthetically pleasing view.
Ventrop ECG was contracted to provide complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm and fire protection contract documents suitable for filing, bidding, and construction for the new restaurant.
